SLTDA Chairperson Invites Investors to Sri Lanka
Speaking on day 2 of the Virtual investment Forum in Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) chairperson Kimarli Fernando outlined the many opportunities present in the Sri Lankan tourism industry to be explored by potential investors.
She spoke of many improvements done to the investment process including the creation of a master document merging all government line agencies to simplify and streamline the investment processes.
The improvements have now simplified the process with potential investors having to just fill out a single application.
Further, noteworthy benefits in tourism are the tax holidays, land banks to assist investors, and VAT refunds for purchases. (Read more here)
