COVID-19 Safety Standard Compliance Certification to be Introduced for Star Class Hotels
COVID-19 safety standard compliance certification to be introduced for star class hotels aimed at boosting confidence among the travellers considering Sri Lanka as their next post pandemic travel destination. Ther certification process will be outsourced and will ensure that the guidelines issued by the MoH to commence operations post Covid-19 are implemented. Phase two, will look at extending the COVID-19 standard compliance certification to three and two star-hotels as well as for resorts and boutique hotels.
