Repatriation of Sri Lankans Stranded Overseas to Commence Today
The repatriation of Sri Lankans stranded overseas will begin today with 330 passengers each from Dubai and Abu Dhabi expected back today and tomorrow respectively. The repatriation process will be halted there after in lieu of Tri-Forces being deployed for election duties with regularised repatriation flights expected to recommence from 8th August according to Admiral Prof. Jayanath Colombage, Additional Secretary to the President for Foreign Relations.
