US Lifts “Do Not Travel” Advisory Imposed in March 2020
The US State Department lifts the global “Do Not Travel” advisory imposed from March 2020 advising US citizens to avoid all international travel due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The State Department has instead moved to the previous system of country specific travel advice given based on the prevailing ground situation in each country. Sri Lanka was given a Level 3 raing of “Reconsider Travel” along with the European Union, the United Kingdom, Vietnam, Liberia, Armenia, the Philippines, Laos and Australia.
