Cabinet Approves Proposal to Reconstruct the Colombo Flight Information Region
A proposal submitted by Prasanna Ranatunga, Minister of Tourism to restructure the Colombo Flight Information Region has been approved by the Cabinet of Ministers. The proposal stated that Sri Lanka would be required to match the expected capacity demand in the Asia-Pacific Region, including aviation procedures and related infrastructure facilities to be maintained by standards enforced by the International Civil Aviation Organization.
