Nuwara Eliya Closed to Visitors Until Further Notice
Nuwara Eliya District Secretary M.B.R Pushpakumara, stated that entry to Nuwara Eliya is closed until further notice to all visitors given the current situation the country is facing due to the Covid-19 pandemic. He further stated that all hot spots such as Victoria Park and Gregory Lake Park in Nuwara Eliya, Sandatenna have been closed until further notice in order to support the government’s health care program in containing the current situation in the country and keeping everyone safe.
