Attractions in Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa Closed for Local Travellers
Following the scheduled visit by the Ukrainian visitors, a decision was made to close attractions in Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa on the 4th and 5th of January to local travellers to avoid contact with the Ukrainian travel group. Attractions in Polonnaruwa will be closed to domestic visitors from 1 pm on the 4th of January whereas attractions in Sigiriya will be closed from 12 pm.
