Tourism Minister Appoints Committee for the strategic Management of the Global Tourism Campaign
A nine member management committee has been appointed by Prasanna Ranatunga, Tourism Minister to provide strategic advice to Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB) on the management of the global campaign to promote Sri Lanka Tourism. The committee has been tasked with providing strategic input towards planning and monitoring of the entire campaign. The move was hailed by industry leaders especially given the fact that there has been no proper destination campaign or promotion done in the past six years to promote Sri Lanka Tourism.
