President Assured Tourism Industry Stakeholders of the Government’s Continued Support to Revive the Industry
During a discussion held with representatives of the tourism sector President Gotabaya Rajapaksa assured industry stakeholders of the government’s continued support towards the tourism industry and called all tourism stakeholders to join a new journey overcoming the challenges posed by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic to revive the tourism industry. He further stated that the government has made every possible effort to provide all required facilities to ensure public safety while also paying special attention to representatives of the tourism sector. Priority will be given to personnel such as hotel employees, tour guides and drivers to get vaccinated under the ongoing COVID vaccination program according to President Rajapaksa.
