Travel Restrictions to the UK Relaxed
The Government announced the relaxation of restrictions imposed on travel origination from the UK in light of the new COVID-19 variant effective immediately. The decision was taken during a meeting presided by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa. Arrivals from the UK is expected resume following the guidelines issued by the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau in consultation with the Health Authorities.
