Air Travel Bubble to be Established with India
During a meeting held between Tourism Minister Prasanna Ranatunga and Indian High Commissioner Dr. Gopal Bagle the launch of a travel bubble between India and Sri Lanka was discussed at length. The Tourism Minister confirmed that plans are being finalised for the launch of the Air travel bubble with India (the largest source market for foreign visitors to Sri Lanka) which is expected to boost tourism. The meeting was also attended by Sri Lanka Tourism officials as well as representatives from the Aviation State Ministry.
