Tourism Industry Employees to be Prioritised for COVID-19 Vaccination
During a cabinet meeting held recently, Prasanna Ranatunga, Minister for Tourism requested priority to be given to employees in the tourism industry as well as BOI enterprises for the COVID-19 vaccination. The minister highlighted the importance of both these sectors to the economy and the dedication of the workers in these sectors that contributed to 70% of the country’s foreign exchange revenue last year.
