Accommodation providers can apply for Health & Safety Certification
All registered Accommodation providers can now request to be audited for Health and Safety certification, to permit foreign visitor bookings.
A letter of request needs to be sent to the attention of Director General of the SLTDA confirming compliance with the SLTDA issued Health and Safety guidelines and the readiness of the hotel to be audited for certification along with the following information:
- Name of hotel
- No. of rooms
- Address
- SLTDA registration number
The first audit will be conducted free of charge, however, if a hotel or accommodation provider fails to qualify in the first attempt, then the SLTDA will levy a charge to conduct a subsequent second audit.
The audit has been outsourced by the SLTDA and the finalised service provider is expected to be announced soon.
