BIA to Reopen on the 23rd of January
State Minister of Aviation and Investment Zone Development D.V. Chanaka stated that the Bandaranaike International Airport is scheduled to reopen on the 23rd of January 2021 to both foreign and local travellers. He further stated that most countries have already opened doors to travellers and that it would be in the best interest to restart Sri Lanka’s Tourism Industry whilst learning from these countries and adhering to health and safety regulation in the “New Normal”.
