CAASL Informes Airlines of Relaxed Entry Regulations for Selected Incoming Passengers
Captain Themiya Abeywickrama, Director General and CEO, Civil Aviation Authority Sri Lanka (CAASL) has informed airlines of relaxed rules for selected passengers entering Sri Lanka. Foreign visitors with a tourist visa, Sri Lankans in possession of dual citizenship, Sri Lankan spouse or close family members in possession of a Sri Lankan passport travelling with a foreign national and foreign passport holders with a valid residence visa will not require CAASL approval prior to their travel to the Island. There will also be no mandatory minimum stay for these categories of passengers.
