Chamber of Tourism and Industry Sri Lanka Urges Government for Short Term Grants for Self Employed Individuals
The Chamber of Tourism and Industry Sri Lanka (CTISL) is urging the government to provide a short term grant to the self employed individuals who have lost out on their jobs due to the lockdown. It is requested that the government provide a grant of Rs.25,000 for a period of 06 months to 150,000 self employed individuals attached to the Tourism Industry. The CTISL is also requesting hotels and other establishments be granted a waiver on water and electricity bills for a period of 02 months as a temporary relief measure.
