Maldives Set to Welcome Tourists from July with No Restrictions
The Maldives is set to welcome all tourists from July with no restrictions, no testing and no mandatory quarantine period. Maldives Minister for Tourism Ali Waheed states that with zero tourists arriving in Maldives since the country closed its borders in March due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the impact on the country has been more devastating than the 2004 Tsunami and the 2008 Financial crisis and the country cannot afford to keep its borders closed for much longer.
