Plans Underway to Bring in More Russian Visitors Under the Bio-bubble Concept
Former Ambassador, Udayanga Weeratunga is currently in the process of planning to bring in more Russian visitors to visit Sri Lanka under the bio-bubble concept in an effort the revive the tourism industry grappling with the effects of the covid-19 pandemic.
The plan will focus on completely locking down the entire East coast as a tourism zone, with flights operating weekly out of Mattala Airport.
