SLCB Campaign to Promote MICE Tourism a Resounding Success
The social media campaign under the tagline ‘MeetInSriLanka’ was launched by Sri Lanka Convention Bureau (SLCB) recently.
The campaign which is the first of its kind was launched in line with SLCB marketing plan on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube on March 2021. The campaign promoting Sri Lanka’s competitiveness and attractiveness globally as an international destination for MICE and leisure has been a resounding success with over 2 Million impressions across social media platforms.
The development of the MICE sector remains a necessity for both economic development and to minimise seasonal fluctuations in the tourism industry.
