SLTDA Waives Off Annual Tour Guide License Fee for 2021
The Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) has decided to waive off the annual renewal license fee for Tour Guides for the year 2021. This decision was made to provide relief to the sectors worst hit by the COVID-19 crisis.
The SLTDA has stated that the annual fee for all Tour Guides falling under the four categories of National, Chauffeur, Area and Site Guides will be waived for the year 2021.
This special relief measure will only be valid for Tour Guides who have renewed their license upto 2019. Guides who have not renewed their licence for over a year can avail of the relief measure by paying the previous years’ fees.
