Sri Lanka Emerges Out of a Three Day Lock-down to Contain the Spread of COVID-19
A three day lock-down imposed to curb the rapidly spreading COVID-19 virus ended on Monday with Authorities requesting that people stay indoors with daily cases exceeding the 2000 mark.
People are only able leave home for essential work based on the last digit of the national ID card.
Foreign Visitors are still able to travel and undertake inter-provincial travel under the bio safety bubble as confirmed by Dhammika Wijesinghe, Director General of Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA).
