Sri Lanka Tourism Set to Welcome Travellers from 1st Aug 2020
Sri Lanka Tourism is set to welcome travellers from 1st Aug 2020. Kimarli Fernando, Chairperson, Sri Lanka Tourism states that a negative PCR test from an accredited laboratory taken 72 hours prior to landing in Sri Lanka, a confirmed travel itinerary covering at least 5 nights at an establishment certified to to be compliant with Covid-19 health and safety guidelines, a valid return air ticket, travel insurance with health and hospitalisation cover along with a valid visa will be required from all travellers.
All Tourists will also be required to apply for visa online at a flat fee of $100 each (except nationals from countries where there is reciprocal fee-free visa).
