THASL and SLAITO Support Government Decision to Impose Strict Travel Guidelines
Leading tourism industry associations The Hotels Association of Sri Lanka (THASL) and Sri Lanka Association of Inbound Tour Operators (SLAITO) pledged to support the decision taken by the government to impose stricter travel guidelines and protocols given the recent surge in COVID-19 cases.
The Ministry of Health (MoH) on Tuesday imposed strict new guidelines for all foreign visitors arriving in the country irrespective of vaccine status.
As per the new guidelines all foreign visitors as well as Sri Lankans must undergo a mandatory 14 day quarantine at a government identified facility.
