Tourism Industry Welcomes Central Bank Decision to Extend Debt Moratorium
The debt moratorium granted for the tourism industry was further extended by 06 months from 1st April 2021. This welcome move comes as the industry is struggling to recover from the effects of two back to back disasters in the form of Easter attacks and now the Covid-19 pandemic. The agreement was reached following discussions with the Central Bank Governor Prof. W.D. Lakshman.
