As the General Manager – DMC, you’ll play a key role in supporting the management of ground operations, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations of our DMC in Sri Lanka. Reporting to the Country General Manager - Sri Lanka, you'll implement strategies, achieve financial targets, and collaborate with the DMC management team to maintain high standards of product delivery.   

In this role, you'll focus on boosting sales growth, positioning the Intrepid brand in our key markets and destinations. You’ll achieve company goals by developing new business opportunities and ensuring profitability. By providing great leadership, you’ll be instrumental in developing a high-performing team, ultimately delivering exceptional products to our partners across the region! 
 
This is a full-time permanent position, based in our Colombo office.  

Some of the essential experience you’ll bring may include: 

  • Experience in Destination Management & managing ground operations within the tourism sector, particularly in Sri Lanka 

  • Strong understanding of the Sri Lankan inbound market and its operational dynamics 

  • 5-10 years’ middle level management experience; company management or DMC management experience preferred. 

  • Prior experience in the travel & tourism industry 

  • Sound financial literacy with an understanding of commercial & strategic decision making. 

  • Proven understanding of risk and incident management 

You’ll also have excellent English communication skills coupled with the ability to develop strong teams!
