Associate QA Lead

The world needs more Intrepid people: As an Associate QA Lead - Automation, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring flawless systems and enhanced user experience. You will maintain exceptional software quality through rigorous automation testing and analysis. You will write automated test scripts using industry-standard tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress and Appium. The role includes performance testing where you will evaluate system performance under varying conditions. Apart from collaboration with development teams, you will also provide sound technical guidance to the QA team. Additionally, your expertise in managing defects and improving processes will champion efficient testing!

This is a full-time permanent position, based in our Colombo office. To provide the best experience for our people, this role would operate mostly out of our office with some work-from-home days.

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you, includes: • 5+ years of direct experience in test automation. • Hands-on experience with industry-standard automation testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Appium, TestNG • Experience with performance testing tools and frameworks (JMeter, K6). • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) and test management tools (Jira, TestRail). • Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies. • Extensive knowledge of cloud applications. • Knowledge in application testing/ security testing is a plus. You will also have excellent communication and strong analytical skills with a love for emerging technologies!
