Assistant Manager - Wine Bar

We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager, Wine Bar to join Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams, the much anticipated 1 billion USD project, opening in late 2024. Cinnamon Life is a part of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, Sri Lanka's largest Hotel owner with a portfolio of 15 Hotels and Resorts in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Reporting to the Head Sommelier, you will assist in overseeing daily operations at our luxurious Wine Bar, where your deep understanding of wines and expert recommendations will elevate our guests' dining experiences. By showcasing the elegance and sophistication of our venue, you will ensure that every visit is truly exceptional.

Your role involves managing the overall administration and operations of the outlet, where you will foster a warm and welcoming environment while providing smooth, attentive service to enhance guest satisfaction and profitability. You will curate and manage an extensive wine list, lead staff training on wine knowledge, and stay updated on industry trends. You will lead and motivate the service team to uphold high standards of quality and hospitality, promptly addressing guest concerns and recognizing the preferences of our regular and VIP patrons. You will collaborate closely with the culinary team to plan and implement menu changes, specials, and events, while also overseeing budgets and inventory to optimize profitability. Adhering to health and safety regulations and upholding the hotel's brand values in all interactions are essential aspects of your responsibilities.
