Head Bartender

We have an exciting opportunity for a Head Bartender to join Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort, the much anticipated 1 billion USD project, opening in late 2024. Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort is a part of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, Sri Lanka's largest Hotel owner with a portfolio of 15 Hotels and Resorts in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. It is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, one of the largest listed conglomerates in Sri Lanka.
Reporting to the Manager, Restaurant, you will oversee daily bar operations and supervise a dedicated team of bartenders. You will design and develop innovative drink menus that reflect current trends and seasonal offerings, collaborating with chefs and other departments to create exceptional pairings and special promotions. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, ensuring that all guests receive personalised and exceptional experiences that align with our hotel's luxury standards. You will address and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally, fostering strong guest relationships. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation is essential, as is ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal laws related to alcohol service. As the Head Bartender, you will provide ongoing training to staff, keeping them updated on customer service techniques, beverage preparation and safety procedures.
