Front Office & Reservations Assistant Manager
Beach Villas Vacation PVT LTD Matara District ★ Assistant Manager Published Date 2024-11-08We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Front Office and Reservations Executive to join our team. This role is integral to providing exceptional guest experiences, ensuring smooth front office operations, and efficiently managing reservations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests, ensuring a warm and professional reception.
Manage check-ins, check-outs, and respond to guest inquiries.
Coordinate room reservations, maintain accurate records, and update reservation systems (e.g., Scienter).
Handle phone calls, emails, and other communication channels related to reservations and guest services.
Maintain a positive guest experience and handle any issues or complaints with empathy and efficiency.
Assist in managing online travel agent (OTA) platforms and inventory management.
Work in conjunction with Head of Finance, Head of Operations and Directors in occupancy.
Coordinating with property management technical team & Channel Management teams
Administering accounts receivable with Finance to ensure client and agent payments are made promptly.
Any other duties as requested by the Management or Directors.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in Front Office or Reservations in a Star-Class Hotel or Boutique Property.
Hospitality education preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office and hotel management systems (Scienter).
Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
