This is a full-time on-site role for a Guest Relations Agent at Colombo Court Hotel & Spa. The Guest Relations Agent will be responsible for managing guest relations, receptionist duties, ensuring customer satisfaction, and providing exceptional customer service on a daily basis in the vibrant and artistic environment of the hotel located in Colombo.

 

Qualifications

* A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

* Minimum of 1 year of experience in a guest service or customer service role, preferably within the hospitality industry.

* Experience with hotel management software and booking systems is an advantage.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

* Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

* Competency in handling cash transactions and basic accounting tasks.

* Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is beneficial.

* Professional appearance and demeanor.

* Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable manner.

* High level of integrity, reliability, and attention to detail.

* Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure and in fast-paced environments.

* Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

* Ability to anticipate and respond to guests' needs and preferences effectively.

* Proactive in identifying and resolving issues efficiently.

* Capable of making quick and effective decisions to ensure guest satisfaction.

* Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

* Understanding of front office operations and hotel services.

* Familiarity with local attractions, restaurants, and services to assist guests with inquiries.

* Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures.

* Handle guest inquiries, reservations, and complaints promptly and efficiently.

* Maintain accurate records of guest transactions and information.

* Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.

* Assist in managing the front office operations and ensuring smooth workflow.
