Assistant Manager, Housekeeping and Laundry

We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager, Housekeeping - Laundry to join Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams, part of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, Sri Lanka's largest hotel owner with a portfolio of 15 hotels and resorts in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. It is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, one of the largest listed conglomerates in Sri Lanka.

You will be reporting to the Manager, Laundry and play a pivotal role in ensuring every fabric reflects perfection. You will actively support the laundering process, maintaining impeccable quality standards to provide guests with the essence of freshness and comfort. Together with a dedicated team and state-of-the-art facilities, you will contribute to transforming laundry care into an art, enhancing the luxury experience at our esteemed establishment.

You will assist in overseeing the laundry department's daily operations, ensuring the efficient and timely processing of linens, uniforms, and other hotel textiles. Your responsibilities include supporting the management of the laundry team, scheduling their work shifts, and supervising their performance to maintain exceptional quality control. You will work closely with other hotel departments to meet their linen and uniform needs and assist in managing the inventory of supplies, detergents, and equipment. Ensuring proper equipment maintenance, adherence to safety protocols, and compliance with environmental standards will also be among your key responsibilities. Your role in supporting pristine linens, immaculate uniforms, and efficient laundry operations will contribute significantly to creating a memorable and luxurious guest experience in our hotel.
