We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Sous Chef to join Trinco Blu by Cinnamon. Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is Sri Lanka’s largest Hotel owner with a portfolio of 15 Hotels and Resorts in both Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Adding to its portfolio, the much-anticipated project valued at 1 Billion USD - Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort, will be opening soon. Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, the largest listed conglomerate in Sri Lanka.

The Sous Chef will ensure the efficiency of the kitchen, cost-effective operation, and profitability of food preparation while meeting quality standards and enhancing customer satisfaction. The position entails assisting in all phases of planning, creating menus, ordering, inventory, and food preparation. You will ensure the food products, presentation, and plating are at the highest quality and are prepared to serve on time. You are expected to inspect and supervise all preparation and cooking equipment regularly to ensure that they are kept clean and in perfect condition to operate and ensure the kitchen staff is trained in best cleanliness and sanitation practices.  

Do you demonstrate a strong knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and best practices? Do you have 5-7 years of experience in a culinary leadership role and cooking experience in a fine dining environment? Does guest satisfaction motivate you?
