We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager, Security to join Cinnamon Life, Colombo’s new Icon, opening in late 2024. Cinnamon Life is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, one of the largest listed Conglomerates in Sri Lanka.

Reporting to the Director, Security, the Assistant Manager, Security will be responsible to assist the Director of Security in planning and implementing security management systems and processes in accordance with group compliance and standards. You will work closely with the Director, Security during the pre-opening stage of the hotel in supporting with the development of departmental SOPs and policies and departmental trainings for new recruits.

Further, you will be responsible to assist with daily operational activities of the security department such as crime prevention and investigation, identifying security and safety risks, supervising the security team, managing required security logs and certifications, liaising with local governmental authority and event security management to ensure safety and security of guests, employees, and the resort building.
• Do you have Pre-opening experience at a five-star hotel?
• Are you an experienced Military/Police service personnel with at least 12 years of service experience?
• Are you a security specialist with sufficient technical knowledge and experience in the field?
