Chef De Partie

We have an exciting opportunity for a Chef de Partie to join Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams, the much-anticipated 1 billion USD project, opening in late 2024. Cinnamon Life is a part of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, Sri Lanka's largest hotel owner with a portfolio of 15 hotels and resorts in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. It is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, one of the largest listed conglomerates in Sri Lanka.

In this role, you will report to the Chef de Cuisine, playing a pivotal part in the preparation of dishes according to standardized recipes and specifications to ensure unparalleled quality and presentation. Your contribution will be instrumental in maintaining the consistency of our culinary offerings, fostering collaboration with fellow chefs, and ensuring seamless kitchen operations. Beyond the kitchen, you'll be responsible for managing inventory levels, upholding rigorous hygiene and safety standards, and actively participating in the training and development of our junior culinary team. Engaging with our esteemed guests, you will cultivate personal connections by providing both entertainment and information throughout their culinary journey. Additionally, your role encompasses direct responsiveness to guest feedback, swift resolution of complaints, and a steadfast commitment to achieving the highest levels of guest satisfaction. Remaining attuned to global hospitality trends, you will infuse our culinary offerings with fresh and innovative perspectives while adhering rigorously to recipes and preserving the integrity of our current offerings. Your keen focus on waste management and strict control over portioning will further contribute to upholding the highest standards of food profitability.
