Add business photos or videos

Photos and videos help people find your business across Google, including in Search and Maps. These photos and videos come from both businesses themselves and customers. Add your own business photos to showcase your products and services to people who are looking for what you offer.

Your photos won't show on Google until you verify your business.

Types of photos

There are several types of photos you can add to your business listing:

• Logo: Help your customers recognize your business on Google.
• Cover photo: Showcase your page's personality. Adding a cover photo automatically sets it as your listing's preferred photo. This action doesn't guarantee it populates as the first image for your business, but it does tell Google you prefer to display this photo.
• Additional photos: Add different photos to spotlight features of your business that customers consider when making purchasing decisions. Learn more about business photos.

Add a photo with the mobile app

1. Open the Google My Business app.
2. Tap Home.
3. In the bottom right corner, tap the plus icon .
4. Tap Add photos.
5. Choose the type of photo or video you'd like to add.
6. Choose a photo or video from your camera roll, or take a new one.
7. Tap Upload.

Customer reviews

Your business listing allows customers to post reviews of your business. Online reviews are a great way to take valuable word-of-mouth marketing to the web, and can help new people find you online.

When you respond to these reviews, you show existing and potential customers that you value their business. (We will learn more about why and how to respond to reviews in our e-Reputation module.)


Remember that you'll be posting publicly as your business when you reply to reviews. Replies to reviews may not appear immediately on your business listing on Google.
